Safety & Compliance at ARDI Express

Structured operations, trained staff, and documented processes — at both our California and New Jersey facilities.

ARDI Express operates two independent warehouse facilities — Riverside, California (51,000 sq ft) and Edison, New Jersey (35,000 sq ft) — under standardized safety and compliance protocols. Our operations are designed to protect cargo, people, and our clients’ supply chain integrity. Below is a summary of the standards we maintain at every facility.

Workplace Safety Standards

All ARDI warehouses operate in compliance with applicable U.S. workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards for general industry warehousing. Our facilities are inspected regularly, and our internal safety protocols are reviewed annually. Each warehouse maintains an active Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) as required under California Labor Code, with equivalent procedures applied at our New Jersey facility.

  • OSHA-compliant warehouse operations at both facilities
  • Active Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) — written and maintained
  • Daily safety briefings for warehouse staff
  • Posted emergency procedures and clearly marked exits
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided to all warehouse workers

Equipment & Operator Certification

Material handling equipment — including forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift platforms — is operated only by certified personnel. All forklift operators complete OSHA-compliant training (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178) before independent operation, with refresher training conducted as required. Equipment is inspected before each shift and serviced on a documented maintenance schedule.

  • OSHA-certified forklift operators (29 CFR 1910.178)
  • Pre-shift equipment inspections
  • Documented preventive maintenance schedules
  • Designated equipment operating zones within each warehouse
  • Restricted access to high-traffic dock and equipment areas

WMS-Driven Operations & Cargo Tracking

Every cargo movement at ARDI is recorded in our Warehouse Management System (WMS). Each pallet, carton, and unit is barcode-scanned at receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. This creates a documented chain of custody from container arrival to outbound dispatch, eliminating ambiguity about who handled what and when.

  • Barcode scanning on every cargo movement
  • Real-time inventory tracking and client portal access
  • Documented chain of custody from receipt to dispatch
  • Photographic documentation available for inbound containers
  • Automated discrepancy reporting

Warehouse Insurance Coverage

Both ARDI warehouses maintain commercial insurance coverage protecting our operations and the cargo under our direct control. Insurance applies to bailee liability — meaning while cargo is in our physical possession at our facilities. Workers’ Compensation insurance is maintained per California and New Jersey state requirements. Certificate of insurance is available upon request for clients with specific compliance needs.

  • Commercial General Liability insurance
  • Warehouseman’s Legal Liability coverage (bailee insurance)
  • Workers’ Compensation per CA and NJ state requirements
  • Certificate of insurance available upon client request

Facility Security

Both ARDI facilities are secured 24/7. Access is controlled, monitored, and logged. Our warehouses meet the security standards expected by Amazon SPN partners and other enterprise clients we serve.

  • 24/7 video surveillance with recorded footage retention
  • Controlled access with badge entry, alarm system, and visitor sign-in
  • Logged entry and exit for all personnel
  • Restricted areas for high-value or sensitive inventory
  • Offsite alarm monitoring
